Our client has a number of different supported living homes across the whole of Worcestershire. Duties will involve supporting the individuals with day to day tasks such as dressing, washing, cooking, and there will be some aspects of personal care involved too. You may need to assist individuals with a positive behaviour support plan. 

The right candidate applying as a Support Worker will have a kind and caring nature, and want to provide care to the highest standard.

Support Worker

Coast 2 Coast Care are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Malvern team as Temporary Support Workers. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning difficulties. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting individuals with meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, outings, or social activities as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Coast 2 Coast Care require you to have the following as a Support Worker:

  • 6 months experience in a similar support role.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (preferred but not essential).
